KOGI WEST PDP ASSURES WADA OF VICTORY
Leaders of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Kogi West Senatorial District have resolved to give an overwhelming victory to the party in the November 21governorship election in the state.
The resolution was reached by critical stakeholders in Kogi West at a meeting held in Kabba, the headquarters of the District. Those in attendance included party executives and leaders in the seven local councils.
The meeting which was chaired by Kogi State Deputy Governor, Yomi Awoniyi, commended the members for their steadfastness and enjoined them to see the forthcoming governorship election as a defining moment for the state’s development.
The deputy governor urged the people to give another opportunity to Capt. Idris Wada to enable him consolidate on the gains of democracy that have been recorded by the administration since inception in 2012.
He said a vote against the governor is a vote against development, urging the people to support a governor who has proven to be a shrewd manager of resources in this very critical period.
