CALIFORNIA LAWMAKERS MAKE AN EXCUSE FOR SUCIDE

Euthanasia also known as mercy killing has been described as the killing of someone or ones self to end suffering, in either ways it involves the consent of the person on whom the act is to be carried on it is generally cartegorized into two voluntary and non voluntary killing which is usually considered murder.
In some countries there is a divisive public controversy over the moral, ethical, and legal issues of euthanasia. Those who are against euthanasia may argue for the sanctity of life, while proponents of euthanasia rights emphasize alleviating suffering, and preserving bodily integrity, self-determination, and personal autonomy. Jurisdictions where euthanasia or assisted suicide is legal include the Netherlands, Colombia, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Estonia, Albania, the US states of Washington, Oregon, Montana, and Vermont and, starting in 2015, the Canadian Province of Quebec.

It is in this regard that lawmakers of the californian state assembly voted in favour of a bil to allow for terminally ill people to end their lives. This was approved on a 42-33 vote which saw the majority having a upper hand. The End of Life Option Act would allow doctors to prescribe life-ending medication, according to the Associated Press. Specifically, patients would be required to make two oral requests spaced 15 days apart, and submit one written request. All three requests would have to be personally received by an attending physician.

If passed into law, the act would sunset in 10 years, giving lawmakers a chance to review its merits and decide whether to grant an extension.

The bill’s advance comes after the highly publicized case of 29-year-old Brittany Maynard, a California woman with brain cancer that moved to Oregon to legally take her own life, and who had ardently urged California lawmakers to pass the legislation prior to her passing.

However, California Governor Jerry Brown, a Catholic faithful from birth, has not said whether he will sign it into law, and sources claim this may be an hinderance in the application of this section of the law.

I HATE BEEN PREGNANT - Kim Kardashian

Motherhood is a divine responsibility which no man can ever enjoy, but to some a result from the medical lab telling them they are pregnant spells doom. During the course of my research there is only one thing that is peculiar about them all is the changes which occur during the time of pregnancy, furthermore the pain accompanied with child birth and labor is not a story one would love to experience.

Experiences have been shared with first time mothers who make up their mind after delivery never to be pregnant any more, but in the long run these mothers later turn out to be sources of strength to millions of first time mothers all over the world, but not anyone of them have used the word I hate been pregnant as seen in the recent interview with Kim Kardashian West wife of American Rap Star Kanye West.

Kim had this to say :
"I'm gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life! LOL! I don't enjoy one moment of it and I don't understand people who enjoy it.
"Maybe it's the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mind f**k of how your body expands and nothing fits. I just always feel like I'm not in my own skin.People just don't tell you all of the gross things that happen during pregnancy or after.
Do you know you basically have to wear a diaper for two months afterwards! LOL! No one told me that! #So Sexy." "I don't feel sexy, either - I feel insecure and most of the time I just feel gross," she admitted. I feel so accomplished when I'm back to where I want to be." "Really, it is all SO worth it when you have your precious baby in the end! So for all my complaining, it's 100 percent worth it and more!!!"

Kim is said to be pregnant with the second child and would soon be delivering the second child anymore, speculations have been widely circulated on the sex of the child but the couple declined an official statement when confronted on that.
The big question is left unanswered is motherhood a deterrent factor to be considered in a rise to stardom?

LUNAR ECLIPSE A CURSE OR A BLESSING

On sunday night and early monday morning, much of the earth will witness a glorious heavenly event. For some it is a sign of bad omen for others a relief that the apocalypse is near, to others it is just a natural phenomenon where the moon almost kisses the earth.
For the first time in more than 30 years, you can witness a supermoon in combination with a lunar eclipse. Late on Sept. 27, 2015, in the U.S. and much of the world, a total lunar eclipse will mask the moon’s larger-than-life face, the last of the eclipse occuring in 1982, scientist are of the opinion that those who do not have a shot at seeing the blood moon today will get the chance to witness it in the year 2033. Throughout human history, lunar eclipses have been viewed with awe and sometimes fear. Today, we know that a total lunar eclipse happens when the full moon passes through the darkest part of Earth's shadow, the umbra.
Sunday’s supermoon eclipse will last 1 hour and 11 minutes, and will be visible to North and South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of West Asia and the eastern Pacific. Weather permitting, you can see the supermoon after nightfall, and the eclipse will cast it into shadow beginning at 8:11 p.m. EDT. The total eclipse starts at 10:11 p.m. EDT, peaking at 10:47 p.m. EDT.
Though some observers are viewing the date with fear -- calling the eclipse a "blood moon" -- for astronomers and stargazers, the event is to be welcomed with celebration.
"It's a beautiful sight in the nighttime sky," said Mark Hammergren, an astronomer at Chicago's Adler Planetarium. "It's a way of connecting us to the universe at large. It gives us this view that there's a bigger picture than just what we're concerned with in our daily lives." The entire eclipse, from first shadow to last, will be visible from most of the Americas -- including the eastern half of the United States -- Greenland, Western Europe, western Africa north of the equator and parts of Antarctica. Other portions of the world, including western North America, the rest of Europe and Africa and a swath of western Asia, will see most of the drama, though they'll miss the first or fading bites of the moon.
The Earth's shadow will start making its way across the moon at 8:11 p.m. ET. The total eclipse begins at 10:11 p.m. ET and will peak at 10:47 p.m. ET. The total eclipse will last about 72 minutes.
In promotion for his 2013 book "Four Blood Moons," Christian minister John Hagee claimed that the tetrad was a signal being sent by God.
"The coming four blood moons points to a world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015," he said. And Mark Blitz, head of El Shaddai Ministries and the author of "Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs," says God is trying to get humanity's attention -- and we ignore it at our peril. "There are always the naysayers and the agnostics when it comes to God trying to reach mankind in His urgent message to repent," he told World News Daily, which has been charting the eclipse's arrival with headlines such as " 'Blood Moons' expert: Get on God's calendar" and "Coming solar eclipse seen as 'judgment.' ""Here we have had four total lunar eclipses in a row on Passover and Tabernacles," he said. "And just look what is happening in the world today!"
Skeptics have pointed out that claims made of "blood moons" -- a term that has arisen only in the past few years, Hammergren says -- should be taken with at least a few grains of salt. After all, their coincidence with Jewish holidays is logical, since the Jewish calendar is a lunar calendar, and some tetrads' occurrence in significant historical years is an example of confirmation bias: looking for connections that fit preconceived notions.
"Some people look at it as being a portent of doom. That is not uncommon," said the Griffith's Danly. "But it really isn't. It is the alignment of the sun and the moon."
Added the Adler's Hammergren, "People have been predicting the end of the world for thousands of years in recorded history, and not a single time has that come about."

VW IN LEGAL BATTLE

it is no more news that the Volkswagen company has involved itself in a million dollar scandal associated with the introduction of a software capable of fooling emission detectors on diesel cars
The "defeat devices" meant true emission levels as much as 40 times the level legally allowed in the US, were hidden.
At least 482,000 cars are to be recalled and the world's largest car maker could face penalties of more than $18bn in the United States alone. Reports say that the company also faces a criminal investigation in the US and further  probes in countries including Germany, France and South Korea.
There are speculations that if the company fails to act as fast as possible it could have a negative impact on the economy of major countries top of the list been Germany.

In a press conference volkswagen boss has apologized but offered no undertaking to resign following eight years in charge that have seen VW almost triple its profits, investigations conducted suggest that it is unclear if Mr. Winterkorn was aware of the emissions rigging software.

"I am endlessly sorry that we have disappointed this trust", he said on Tuesday
"I apologize in every way to our customers, to authorities and the whole public for the wrong doing. We are asking, I am asking for your trust on our way forward. We will clear this up"

"No company should be allowed to evade our environmental laws or promise consumers a fake bill of goods," said Mr Schneiderman a New York Attorney General who is also a party in the investigation.

It is difficult to say the extent of fine to be inflicted on the company but our sources are of the opinion that the company has set out aside  €6.5bn (£4.6bn) or more.

U.S. troops told to ignore rapes?

(CNN)The two U.S. soldiers say they used physical force to drive home their message to the Afghan police commander who had been sexually abusing a boy.

"I picked him up, threw him to the ground multiple times and Charles did the same thing," Dan Quinn, who was a U.S. Army captain at the time, told CNN. "We basically had to make sure that he fully understood that if he ever went near that boy or his mother again, there was going to be
